Are you a successful operational sales professional with good influencing skills, ready to take on a highly autonomous role? Business Area (BA) Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) is now looking for an Order Execution & Demand Planning Process Owner. We offer you the opportunity to make this position your own in driving continuous improvement of our processes and systems, and the adoption of practical, efficient ways of working on a global scale, within an enthusiastic, multicultural setting. We’re excited to meet you!
What you will do
As Process Owner for Order Execution & Demand Planning processes across the entire Business Area, you maintain and enhance common and effective processes to manage order execution within the Sales Areas, from quote to order. You also define and develop SMR’s ability to convert business pipelines into solid demand planning and sales forecasting, supporting our production and logistics business units. You manage improvements and changes to systems and platforms, ensuring that they are up-to-date and meet SMR’s business requirements. To ensure that they are fit for purpose, you align developments with SMR’s Divisions and Sales Areas through a network of SME (Subject Matter Experts) and Key Users. You also lead or act as representative on projects and initiatives which impact upon Order Execution or Demand Planning Processes and their related platforms.
The location for this position is flexible within Northern Europe, preferably Scandinavia. Some travel (a few times per year) to engage with internal stakeholders or visit customers is part of your role.
What you need
A background in Sales Operations is required for this role, with an understanding of the processes and sales platforms typically used to support quote-to-order processes (CRM, CPQ, ERP, etc.). You have experience of working in global, complex and cross-functional teams. You are familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM, also SAP and related digital platforms for managing quote-to-order processes within a large organization. Your background as a change leader makes you comfortable in managing and embedding significant change within a large global organization, which requires you to also have excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
You are a highly motivated and enthusiastic person, with a passion for continuous improvement. Your ability to multi-task enables you to easily manage several projects without impacting timelines or quality. You demonstrate self-awareness at all times, seeking feedback to develop both as a person and in your way of working. You are good at building trusting relationships, and your clear way of communicating enables you to manage a wide range of stakeholders, engaging and inspiring those whom you encounter.
