Right now we?re looking for a Sales Responsible to join Commercial team in Business Area Bedroom&Bathroom.
The Sales Responsible is a key position within IKEA and plays a major role in the product development processes by securing the link between our sales channels and IKEA of Sweden. As Sales Responsible, you initiate and propose activities to secure sales results and range potentials on the global market.
The Sales Responsible is responsible for:
- Feeding the product development process with customer behavior and needs from global market;
- Providing competitor information and market trends for the specific home furnishing areas;
- Providing detailed sales reports and analytics for the specific home furnishing areas;
- Leading and influencing different stakeholders from a retail and customer perspective to secure commercial success and acceptance of the range in the IKEA sales channels.
To be able to deliver in this role, the Sales Responsible should have:
- Solid commercial retail knowledge and insights in the various sales channels
- Solid knowledge on the sales competence areas (planning, steering, pricing etc.)
- Strong insights in the customer needs, behaviors and decision journey in the various sales channels from global perspective
- Strong analytical and financial competence
