Your assignment of Sales Responsible within Children’s IKEA will include:

• To make sure that business strategies, priorities and related product offer are communicated to, anchored with and understood by IKEA markets.
• To contribute to the availability in all sales channels.
• To secure easy buying and selling process in all sales channel.
• To secure an affordable and profitable product offer.
• To lead and communicate global initiatives/activities to balance the supply.
• As member of Product Offer Development Team, to define customer and market needs during the product development process in order to secure a relevant range offer.
• To identify the competence need in sales, and secure and support a relevant know how landscape

You have passion for selling and creating a great customer experience as well as for the business, home furnishing, and peoples’ life at home and for the most important people in the world, The Children!

You are accountable for securing customer and market insights in the development of the product offer and later securing the preconditions for successful meeting between the home furnishing offer and the customer in all sales channels and touch points through different stakeholders. You are also responsible for leading the sales plan and delivering growth and profitability for your range area.

As a Sales Responsible you will be part of the commercial team of Children’s IKEA and report to the Commercial Manager. You will also lead different processes attributed to Sales Responsible in the commercial team.

We believe that you have a strong capability to lead, communicate and influence stakeholders through interdependent and indirect leadership. You have experience in leading projects across functions. You can work operationally, tactically and strategically. You can focus on a defined business are while maintaining a holistic perspective of the areas’ impact on total IKEA. You have a good ability to draw systematic and rational conclusions from relevant sources and you can clearly demonstrate financial awareness and think of terms as profit, loss and added value.

It is important that you have a solid retail background and commercial knowledge, passion for customers and retailing.

This role involves frequent travelling.
