Hitachi ABB Power Grids, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service Hub Business Line Europe includes eleven High Voltage Service Units promoting services on the installed base in the local markets, four of them additionally acting as Product Service Centers for their respective products with the global responsibility for the service portfolio, training and certification as well as technical and sales support of the local Hitachi ABB Service Centers.
In the role of Sales Specialist, you will be part of the high voltage product service center in Ludvika Sweden, supporting all aftersales services to all high voltage products that are delivered from Ludvika plants.
Your responsibilities
Strategy implementation: Support the Sales and Marketing team in translating global strategies into local strategic actions and in identifying local input to global market strategy. Contribute to strategy definition and execution.
Business intelligence: Develop good understanding of respective local markets, competitive environments and Hitachi Power Grids position.
Business opportunities: Lead and work on identification and prioritization of new sales opportunities in line with the local strategic plan, based on good understanding of local situation and global business strategies.
Collaboration: Collaborate with all related internal/external contacts to ensure alignment, efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of the respective business plan
Leads/demand creation: Analyze both the installed base and markets potential to create leads and coordinate with the local service organization in every assigned market
Key performance indicators (KPIs): Order received, agreed target of created leads, market strategic plans and reporting, including the individual pipeline responsibility are the main KPIs.
Your background
You hold a university degree in Engineering, Business administration, Industrial economics or similar.
You have minimum two years of experience in sales or business development.
Knowledge and experience in high voltage field is a merit.
You have growth mind set, you are curious and eager to learn.
Good level of knowledge in using MS office package and virtual tools for your daily work
You like to take on responsibility and be comfortable with your decision making.
As you will be working in a global environment, fluency in English, written and spoken alike is required. Understanding of Swedish or French language is an advantage.
Willingness to travel (up to 20%).
