The ABB's Process Industries team engineers and delivers automation-, instrumentation- and electrification solutions from device to monitoring and control, ensuring our customers get the most out of their investment. Our digitalization solutions help improve plant and enterprise productivity, while reducing maintenance and energy costs. Deep domain knowledge enables us to truly understand and address the challenges and opportunities of Industrial Automation.
You will be accountable for sales of systems solutions in PAPI with focus on the rapidly growing Battery Manufacturing, driving sales volumes and margins. Reporting to the Global product Line Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.
Your responsibilities
• Working with marketing and other departments in preparation of sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
• Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities.
• Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions determine effective solutions for customers.
• Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities.
Your background
• More than 10 years of experience in sales.
• Sound knowledge of large project sales and the Battery or similar experience from the Energy-, or Process Industry market.
• Knowledge of Electrification, Instrumentation and Control solutions.
• A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• A Master of Science Degree in Engineering or Economics.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
