You have knowledge in following areas:
• Experience leading sales strategy, business planning and retail operations in at last one IKEA country
• Proven track record of highly improving growth and profitability performances in today’s omnichannel reality by providing clear country direction, securing good implementation of global and country priorities and following up on goals and deviations.
• Experience working with trends in consumer behaviours within retail environment and proven track record of great customer experience performances.
• Proven track record in a country of managing stakeholders on senior level, nurturing collaboration and create growth throughout the IKEA Network.
• Preferred: Country Management Team experience, Country Sales Manager, Market Manager
• Strong documented leadership skills (focus around radical collaboration capabilities, bold and courageous leadership, agile leadership)
• Knowledge of IKEA brand, culture, values and way of working
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role as Sales Steering and Activation Manager you are leading a team of over 25 co-workers. You are responsible to co-lead both global sales strategy and operations and also you lead directly all global Core Areas and the global Commercial Activity function. You secure we maximize sales and conversion across all channels and markets and work on deviations. You are a key partner and support for all Ingka markets but also for other IKEA organizations.
Furthermore, you are driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered to deliver extraordinary growth and customer experience in today’s omnichannel reality.
Your specific key tasks and responsibilities are:
• Responsibility for maximizing sales and nconversion across all touchpoints by ensuring a seamless and easy buying process in today’s omnichannel reality
• Support markets with strategic guidance, ways of working, and tools in sales steering, planning and activation
• Supporting all Ingka markets reaching many more of the many in every market via our omnichannel growth agenda and inspire and enable people to redefine their life at home – a life that is sustainable, supports safety, health and well-being, and is within the means of the many people.
• Leading our Core Area growth plans and sales tactics with the ambition to grow with speed our market share in the different core areas with both customer meeting and profitable growth as a starting point.
• Leading with Range & Supply (R&S) the development and implementation of the commercial activity calendar.
•Securing our commercial activity calendar year in year is delivering incremental growth and providing global sales steering advise to the markets regarding customer acquisition, customer base activation and growing our omnichannel customer base
• Lead, coach and develop a team of leaders and specialists
•Work across functions within INGKA Group and in partnership with other IKEA businesses. You are a key partner for R&S to act together on opportunities and deviations. This role is a permanent contract and is located in Malmö, Sweden.
