In this role, you will be the technical point person for the sales organization in our Drive Products division in Västerås or Norrköping, providing technical solutions and advice on ABB products, systems and applications.
You will support local sales teams and customers by advising on technical options and cost-effective solutions.
This position reports to Contact Center Support Manager.
Your responsibilities
Regular contact with customers.
You are responsible for technical sales support, bid calculation, selection and dimensioning of products and contract reviews.
Responsibility for giving our outside sales staff "back-office" support and work in customer teams to support our customers.
You produce technical descriptions, dimension and prepare price calculations for tenders for Engines, Drive Systems and associated Services. The tenders can include larger product offerings, product offerings combined with services and also turnkey contracts.
You will mainly work with tenders for customers in the Swedish process and basic industry.
You will work closely with outside sales people, customer support, project managers and product managers, other sales units within ABB and our manufacturing factories of motors, electrical machines and Drive Systems globally, as well as external customers and partners.
Your background
You have an education in electrical power or mechanical engineering, but you may also have acquired corresponding knowledge through previous work.
A few years' experience in any technical field.
Experience in dimensioning tools for drive systems and energy saving programs is an advantage.
It's meriting if you have experience of motors, drive systems, electrical machines and mechatronics.
Experience from sales, technical consulting or service of electric drive systems is a plus.
You have good knowledge of Swedish and English. German or Finnish are meritorious.
A driving license is required.
You are customer- and result-focused, enterprising and structured.
You have a high degree of social competence and good team-working skills.
