Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) is a world leading supplier of equipment and complete solutions for the mining and construction industries.Sandvik Mining and Construction's production unit in Svedala is a global development center for stone crushers, which are used within in mining, quarries and the construction industry.The site is divided into three main areas of operation: foundry (Wear Parts), mechanical workshop (Parts) and assembling (Assembly). Sales Tools is the common tool within Sandvik Mining and Construction for forecasting, pricing, order handling, warranty handling etc.Our Global Support Tools department is now looking for a Sales Tools Ambassador as the present Sales Tools Ambassador must be replaced for approx 18 months, starting 2010-11-01 at the latest, but preferably earlier. Key performance areas The Sales Tools Ambassador coordinates activities related to the database Sales Tools regarding crushers, screens, feeders and mobile units.As the Sales Tools Ambassador you will be: - Responsible for providing assistance for user training in the regions if the regional Sales Tools Ambassador require help - The local Sales Tools expert, who is able to advise on how to use Sales Tools; e.g., with user support and local user training - Responsible for seeing that the (local) information is kept up to date, monitoring quality of input in Sales Tools and taking corrective actions if needed - Responsible for informing local users (employees and management) of current activities in Sales Tools - The local contact person for the global Sales Tools team regarding all Sales Tools issues; e.g., releases, and new activities - Responsible for promoting Sales Tools issues on a local level - Responsible for user access matters; i.e., sending pre-defined access rights request through ST Access Module and setting correct access levels for local users to secure sensitive information in Sales Tools The position involves a total of approx.50 days of travel per year. Your profile You have previous experience as a Systems analyst, Systems Architect or IT specialist and Lotus Notes database skills.Experience in doing training is considered an important qualification, as well as experience as a project manager.Fluent communication skills in English are a requirement.
