Your mission
In this position you will be an integral part of developing our Salesforce CRM platform together with our business stakeholders. You will be working in tight collaboration with the business product owners and IT development teams to design, plan, and execute the improvements to our offering in agile sprints. You work as the point of contact for other IT deliveries and frequently discuss solution outlines with other architects. Working towards many different business domains such as sales, marketing, finance, and logistics, you ensure that our business requirements and strategies are successfully translated into new solutions. You provide guidance and direction to developers and suppliers with the mission to ensure that changes are developed in a cost effective, sustainable way. You contribute to the alignment of application architecture with solution and enterprise architecture.
The location for this position is Sandviken or Stockholm, Sweden or Tampere, Finland and you report to the IT Operations Manager for Sales and Marketing within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions IT.


Your competencies and character
We’re looking for a Salesforce Architect with previous experience building solutions on the platform. We expect a hands-on approach, and extensive knowledge on multiple Salesforce topics, such as the Salesforce Access Model, declarative and programmatic tools (APEX, Flows, Visualforce, LC and LWC), Experience / Service / Sales Cloud, Salesforce APIs, Salesforce CPQ, Analytics etc. You will be working as part of a larger delivery and will have support of other architects in and outside Salesforce domain.
You can spot the right integration patterns and help design the needed integrations. You understand the Agile and DevOps practices and can work with our development team to further improve our working practices. Ideally you would have experience working on a global organization with many stakeholders both in IT and business. While technical know-how is a must, to succeed you have also had exposure to business. Understanding key processes in Lead to Cash is highly valued. Preferably you have a background within the manufacturing industry. You speak and write fluent English and can author material related to your domain and stakeholder groups.
You are self-directed, organized, proactive, and possess good teamworking skills. To thrive in this position, you have an analytical approach and can communicate your thoughts to stakeholders coming from different domains. You are eager to learn new things as well as mentor others in your domain of excellence. Being perceptive and sympathetic, you easily create a trusting environment for collaboration. You’re also a passionate networker, using your excellent collaboration skills to interact and build valuable and open relationships.
