SalMar is one of the world's largest and most efficient producers of farmed salmon. Since its inception in 1991 SalMar has developed into a vertically integrated aquaculture enterprise, whose production stretches from roe/broodfish to the sale of finished products. SalMar has significant harvesting and processing activity locally in Norway and with the main office on Frøya in Trøndelag.

Our goal is to be the world's best producer of farmed salmon and we are always looking for more motivated employees that wants to join the winning team! At this point we are looking for more candidates to the position as a "production worker" at the fish factory InnovaMar on Frøya. In our team we have employees from all over the world, and with a total of 35 nationalitites represented.

The job as a productions worker will consist of a variety of work assignments related to the harvesting and processing of salmon, including manual cutting, packing, preparing, sorting, and the like.

Desired qualifications:

· Experience from salmon production or other food production is an advantage, but not a necessity

· Good communication skills. English language is required.

· Good collaboration skills

· Valid background check from the Civil Aviation Authorities

Other information:
We work in shifts, so that you change between working day- and evening shift every other week. Due to our type of industry, there will be possibilities to work overtime and at other times there could be less than 37,5 hours a week.
SalMar AS is bound by the collective agreement between Norwegian Seafood Federation and NNN (employee union). The salary is based on the collective agreement's rates and local supplements and is subsequently regulated through local and central wage negotiations.
As part of having a stable workforce, we prefer candidates that are looking to stay long term or permanently.
