Orkla IT is Orkla’s competence center and provider of services within business applications and IT infrastructure to Orkla, focusing on Scandianvia, but does also deliver to some other European countries. Orkla IT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Orkla and has 85 employees at the head office in Oslo and branch offices in Bergen, Sarpsborg, Gøteborg, Malmø and Odense. Orkla IT is looking for a SAP BW Information Architect and Business Advisor Orkla IT BI department are looking for an SAP BW Information Architect and Business Advisor Orkla IT BI department is responsible for running BI projects for Orkla. Both for enterprise projects as well as for separate business units. Our modern enterprise datawarehouse consists primarily of SAP Business Objects BI suite, BW on HANA, BO DataServices (BODS). We currently have populated this with data from ca 25 unique ERP vendors as well as various external sources. Our BI team is one of the most innovative and experienced SAP BI teams in the Nordics, and we are looking for new persons who can enrich us with additional skills and experiences. You will become part of a very strong academic environment and have a central position in the development of Orkla’s SAP portfolio ahead. Main tasks • Advise businesses in Orkla to get more value out of their data through effective use of BI and analytical technics • Qualify business needs, translate these to IT projects and ensure technical and functional QA in the execution phase (often with mixed internal and external resources) • Develop cost and quality efficient new solutions and maintain existing SAP solutions • Support business users Job qualifications Education • University level degree (or similar) minimum 3 years, preferably 5 years Experience • High data modelling design skills in SAP BW (on HANA) • Good Business knowledgePersonal attributes • Ability to build bridges between business and IT as trusted advisor • Participate/lead role within area of responsibility for project preparation, project execution and post go live support • Good work structure, and manage to handle several tasks in parallel • Advice less experienced consultants in their work • Cooperate and advice sub- contractors if necessary • Flexibility to handle a dynamic work environment with high change rate • Speak Norwegian, Swedish or Danish fluently • Fluent or very good knowledge in English, verbal as well as written. Travels must be expected.
