SAP Release Coordinator, SKF ERP Program (SEP), SKF IT


SKF IT provides strategic IT support to the SKF organization by developing sound strategies and managing selected service providers. We have presence in the Americas, Europe and Asia. SKF IT is now running the biggest change journey in our long history and the SKF ERP Program (SEP) is a vital part of our transformation. As Release Coordinator, you will be a part of the SKF ERP Program Change and Release Management that has the responsibility to implement and manage change and release processes for SAP applications through development, quality, test, and production environments. We operate and support the SAP application portfolio in accordance with best practices within SKF IT.


As a SAP Release Coordinator you will be working together with the Release manager and the Technical Readiness Lead to ensure that we capture the correct demands for each release and meet the requirements for each milestone ending in a successful Go-Live. You will also work with defining and follow up quality metrics for the releases and performing analysis as a base for improvements to the process.


Key Responsibilities
• Scoping the monthly release package
• Ensuring all release requirements are met
• Confirming all approvals are received for the change requests
• Making certain all impacted project streams are participating in the release
• Release Quality Measurement and Monitoring
• Develop and maintain documentation
• Communicate with stakeholders both within and outside the SEP programmed as well as with external parties
• Proactively work to leverage new standard functionality


Requirements
• Professional experience and methodical knowledge in Release management, ideally in an SAP environment
• Experience in multiple large-scale SAP implementations in global environments
• Knowledge of multiple testing tools (e.g. MF ALM)
• Good understanding of IT and emerging technologies
• Excellent communication skills in English
• University degree in related IT field or equivalent


Meritorious with experience in:
SAP Solution Manager, MicroFocus ALM, ServiceNow, O365
