SAP S4HANA Technical Readiness Lead


As a SAP S4HANA Technical Readiness Lead you will be responsible to ensure that the SAP developments are of good quality and meets SKF development standards.

The SKF ERP Program (SEP) is an international team with-in Global Digital Solutions. The SEP program is responsible for the development (including design, build and testing) of a central template and its global deployment; and all activities are carried out through projects. The overall program is steered by the business represented by a transformation community that provides requirements and deployment roadmap to meet the future SKF.


Key responsibilities
Work with various SAP development teams to ensure the strategy and standards are understood prior to any design / development activities
Responsible for approving and moving all the changes to SAP Production environment via Charm Tool
Performing Technical readiness checks before moving any changes to SAP production
Align with Product Owners and Leads to resolve the conflicts due to common objects or CSOL Locks
Challenge the complexity of SAP developments and seek to drive business adoption of standard SAP functionality where possible
Perform Code Reviews and approve SAP Technical design documents



We expect you to have:
Several years’ of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer and experience as an SAP S4HANA Development lead or Technical Readiness Lead
Hands on experience in S4HANA as SAP ABAP Developer, CDS Views and other SAP Development Tools
Good understanding of SAP modules will be added advantage
Experience from end to end SAP S4HANA full lifecycle implementations
Good understanding and knowledge of different SAP Modules
Good understanding of DevOps and Agile Methodology
Experience in working in a complex environment managing uncertainty and challenges
Fluent in English is a prerequisite

Additional information for you
Location: Major SKF site (e.g Gothenburg/Sweden, Airasca/Italy, Bangalore/India etc) preferably Gothenburg, Sweden.

You will report to the SEP Core Services Manager, located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
