SAP Senior Manager

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

The newly created section SAP is part of Digital Core department at IT and consists of 3 SAP product groups with the mission to support and evolve the product SAP as part of Scania’s digital core and transformation journey.

We are looking for a servant leader with experience of establishing SAP as a product within an enterprise and have the will, engagement, and flexibility to join us and be part of the foundation for this journey!

Your responsibilities

As part of Scania’s transformation journey, Scania need to redesign the process- and systems landscape to meet new demands. One important part is the Industrial ERP Backbone based on SAP (S/4 HANA). This creates the fundament to add more dynamic and differentiating capabilities, such as Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, and innovative software, on top of that backbone.

In this role you will have 3 reporting group managers, one responsible for the technology team and two for the SAP product teams. You will report to the manager for Digital Core and be part of the Digital Core management team. As part of the Digital Core management team, we expect you to contribute with your knowledge and creativity. Your profile

Our successful candidate will be a strong servant leader enabling the team to succeed with their deliveries. You like to interact and influence stakeholders at all levels in the company and you have a natural ability to cooperate. You are good at forming strategies in an engaging and inspiring way and have an ability to explain technology so both business and IT understand. and are curious to learn about Scania.

To succeed in this role, it is a must that you have a track record of managing large SAP initiatives. You have a high degree of IT knowledge and experience on how to build agile high performing teams. We belive you have experience of buying IT and have good financial knowledge. You also have an academic education within IT or engineering.
