Job Description
Oversee the installation and maintenance of SAP solutions in order to streamline business operations.
As an SAP Support Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
Providing application support to customers
Monitoring applications, identifying issues, diagnosing root causes and resolving application issues
Tracking applications in production and identifying patching, upgrading and maintenance needs
Scheduling, managing and documenting application installations, updates, patches and minor maintenance
Assuring quality by managing, reviewing, pressure-testing and greenlighting complex and high-impact releases
Writing code corrections & workaround in ABAP/BASIS
Qualifications
Substantial experience of working with ITIL principles in mission-critical large-scale SAP applications
Substantial experience with ABAP and BASIS
ITIL certification
Hands-on experience in documenting test plans, test cases and test execution
Hands-on experience of testing online/web applications with knowledge of QA best practices
Experience of working Test management / Defect Management testing tools
Deep knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Applications (e.g., Supply Chain Management), SAP Technology (e.g., Analytics, Big Data, IT Architecture, Landscape Optimization
Databases (SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL Anywhere, ASE, MySQL, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other service delivery practices
