SAS Link is the name of the airline operating a future regional and midsized E195 aircraft fleet. SAS Link is a vital platform for SAS to continue as infrastructural provider in Scandinavia that links traffic on smaller routes, that are not feasible to operate with a large jet aircraft, with our broader network for global accessibility. SAS Link will operate under the SAS brand and customer promise.

We are now looking for a Delivery Manager to SAS Link.

SAS Link offer a very exciting position that will have a great impact on their success, and you will be able to contribute greatly to the development of this organization and be an essential part of SAS. You will report directly to the CEO at SAS Link and work close to the Management team.

About SAS Link and the role

SAS Link is a subsidiary company supplying SAS a combination of small and midsize aircraft to increase frequencies by rightsizing the operation on Scandinavian and European destinations. This is done with the building of strong and well-functioning partnerships and collaborations. The SAS Link organization is lean in its setup and the role as Delivery Manager will be instrumental to ensure SAS Link’s success. Initially, focus will be on creating conditions and methods for both operations and the organization itself, later the role will be oriented towards a more developing and managing function.

Main responsibilities

The role will consist of setting up a governance structure, securing that all necessary processes are established. You will be a key contributor in securing that necessary partnership structures are built, developed, and leveraged. The responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing and managing governance structure (KPI:s, processes, tools, foras, agreements)
• Designing and managing the business planning process of SAS Link in collaboration with partners and stakeholders
• Structuring and following up on initiatives performed by partners and stakeholders
• Leading selected development initiative projects
• Following up of yearly plans and operational performance and communicating results to stakeholders and partners
• Securing that operations and organization practices are in line with SAS operational requirements and policies
• Participating in the execution of all the above, as well as in the development of SAS products, service and service delivery

Qualifications

As SAS Link’s operations governance will involve a wide range of outsourced activities and collaborations, the Delivery Manager is expected to master, manage, and communicate with a complex network of stakeholders.

You have the ability and talent to build and develop sustainable and reliable relations, you are cooperative, have high social skills and are firm and determined when needed. Further, you are structured and have an open mindset, you are communicative and diplomatic, have a high drive and lead yourself and others with confidence, even in a changing environment. You strive to improve results through collaboration, with high integrity and strong ethical conduct.

• Your professional experience would likely include either working with business development or with management consulting.
• Experience from working with LEAN methodologies, as well as from purchasing, sourcing and partnership building.
• Excellent analytical skills and an ability to translate complex information into comprehensible facts, plans and/or KPI:s.
• You need to be excellent at leading cross functional projects and collaborations in a multinational environment.
• You have a university degree within Business administration, Engineering, or relevant degree.
• You speak and write English fluently.

Experience from operational contexts, such as the airline industry, will be considered highly qualifying.

Your personality is driven, open, social and positive, you have a passion for operations, a commercial mindset and a true talent for building, developing and maintaining cross-functional and multi-level professional and commercial relations.
