SAS Technical Operations, CAMO is a team of 100 people accountable for the continuing airworthiness of the SAS fleet. We perform a wide variety of tasks including negotiating and managing supplier contracts, engineering, planning and controlling aircraft maintenance. We are now looking for a Base Maintenance Planner.
Challenges you will work on
The purpose of the role is to ensure that maintenance is planned in an airworthy, safe and economical condition for the SAS's fleet, under restriction of the requirements imposed through regulations EASA Part-M, Part 145 and EU Ops.
You will be a member of the Base Maintenance Planning team an integral part of SAS Camo and report to the Manager for Maintenance Planning
As a Base Maintenance Planner at SAS you will
Plan, control and manage heavy maintenance requirements at internal and external maintenance providers, taking into account the respective contractual agreements.
Review budget forecast against actuals to manage cost controls.
Secure that tasks will be performed in accordance with AMPD, taking into consideration ETOPS, Critical Task and CDCCL requirements.
Plan accomplishment of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
Plan rectification of deferred defects.
Act as an interface between SAS CAMO and the internal and contracted AMO organizations, ensuring PRM adherence.
Monitor performance of the ongoing base maintenance production in close cooperation with the SAS Technical Representative on-site and in accordance with agreed KPIs.
Coordinate pre-check tasks prior to maintenance visit at an external AMO.
Coordinate pre- and post-maintenance visit meetings.
Report work performed and follow-up on non-performed work in MMIS (AMOS).
To be successful, we believe you should have
Bachelor degree in Aviation studies or other relevant background from the Aviation Industry.
Experience of Aircraft Maintenance Planning.
Experience and knowledge of working on aircraft maintenance systems in an AMO.
Knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance programs ATL MEL and there use of.
Excellent communication skills in English and at least 1 Scandinavian language.
Good current knowledge of civil aviation regulation EASA Part M and Part 145.
Knowledge of AMOS is meritorious.
Good understanding of MS Office data applications.
High degree of attention to detail in making timely decisions
Ability to manage high stress situations.
