SAS Institute are looking for Technical Support Consultants SAS Institute AB are looking for Technical Support Consultants who would like to be part of our Customer Support team, to help our customers to solve technical problems they could face when using the SAS Software, or to help them installing, configuring and using it. Major Responsibilities: .[Provides technical support services for core SAS Institute components, technology or solution independently.Involves providing phone, onsite and email support for SAS Institute products and solutions to our costumers..[Recognizes improvement needs for the technical support process in the supporting areas and makes suggestions for resolution..[Organizes and performs technical projects independently or in a team[ .[Perform smaller consulting or installation tasks, in a clearly defined technical environment Knowledge & Experience: .[Has experience with different OS, like Windows or UNIX, about the different Internet servers' configuration and possibilities, and mastering application servers like Websphere, Weblogic or Tomcat..[Demonstrated ability to program in high-level language, such as Java, C, C++, or SAS..[Experience in Applications Development and tertiary Degree in IT or equivalent technical studies/work experience .[Strong understanding of Operating Systems at systems level: Microsoft Windows (e.g.Win2000/2003, WinXP), UNIX (e.g.HP/UX, Solaris, AIX, Linux)..[Working knowledge of at least one Relational Database (e.g.Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server) .[Good knowledge of web servers (Apache, IIS, JBOSS etc) Who are you?.[A problem solver: capable to "think out of the box" when dealing with complex problems, until the customer problem is solved..[Ability to understand technical documentation in self-study, and to learn the many new technologies, products, solutions, etc.[[ .[Excellent with customer interaction, with users having various technical backgrounds .[A team player who handles deadlines in a multiple task environment, with professionalism and consultative skills.You can read more about SAS Institute on our website www.sas.com/sweden.
