Arbetsbeskrivning
Are you a backend developer that loves a challenge and gets excited about change? Do you think sharing knowledge is the secret to success? And do you want to help thousands of consumers make better shopping decisions every single day? If so, read on. Prisjakt is currently looking for a backend developer to join our Krakow office (also the place crowned Poland's best workplace 2019, just sayin).
As a scala developer your main mission will be to build services that automate content creation and validate offers data. The services contain frontend as well that is used by the operations team to improve data quality with manual actions.
You’re so much more than the code you write
To succeed in this role it’s important that you like to put different perspectives into account and cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders to get the best results. You would definitely consider yourself more of a multiplayer than one doing solo playthroughs and you strongly believe that the best solutions are the ones you find and build together - as a team.
We’re looking for someone that is experienced and confident within their field with the ability to coach and mentor your colleagues.
What is important is what you know, not how you learned
At Prisjakt we know that knowledge and expertise is something you can get in many different ways. It’s not really important to us if you are self-though or have a masters degree. What is important is what knowledge you bring with you. To really thrive in this role we think your must haves are:
- You are skilled in Scala (or in Java but wanna change to Scala)
- Good understanding of microservice architecture
- Knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes
- Your English is on point
When: When you can.
Where: We are an hybride office.
Come as you are
You don’t need a job persona when working at Prisjakt. Our single dearest principle is that you remain yourself. We’ve made it our mission to make you feel excited about Mondays and at the same time make it easier for you to manage the hassle of everyday life.
Still not entirely convinced? Scroll through Prisjakt Culture book (http://bit.ly/2fPgXeB) if you like it - you’ll definitely like us.
