What is I-Talent Programme?

I-Talent Programme is a program that combines on-the-job-training with classroom trainings built to help Scania IT reach their ultimate objective “Drive the shift towards sustainable transport systems by utilizing the power of software and data in all areas”.

During six months you will get all the training and support you need to quickly become a skilled IT professional at Scania. You will work in a team at Scania IT in a specific role contributing to the team deliveries.

What’s in it for you?

Together with fellow IT talents you will get to learn more about the company through different activities, receive technical training as well as learn more about yourself in workshops that aims to develop you both as a person and as a professional. All of this is done together with dedicated teachers. For your support you will have a buddy from Scania IT as well as continuous follow ups.

For this program, we are looking for IT talent who see their future within backend development, big data, machine learning, test, requirement analysis and much more.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for IT graduates who have the potential and desire to become T-shaped IT Professionals at Scania. This means having the ability and the drive to acquire knowledge both in an overall perspective and in certain areas in depth. Furthermore, we are looking for committed and motivated individuals who seek continuous improvement.

All positions are located at Scania in Södertälje and the program will start in the beginning of September 2020. Written and spoken English is required, skills in Swedish is needed in some of the teams, but is considered a merit in others. Applicants should hold a relevant Bachelor or a Master degree.

This recruitment process is conducted by Sigma Young Talent, who specializes in finding and developing newly graduated talents within IT. All questions regarding the recruitment process will be referred to Sigma Young Talent.
