Scania is undergoing a transformation from a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of end-to-end sustainable transport solutions. We are on the road to a shift towards digitalization, electrification and automation. Scania operates in over 100 countries around the world, in areas ranging from production of heavy vehicles to optimizing transport and logistical flows. A prerequisite for Scania to be successful in the transformation is a strong and business driven HR. The newly formed global HR function will be an efficient and business centric organization signified by great engagement and capability, working in a robust operating model with a value-driven culture.

We are looking for a highly driven and engaged professional to lead the HR Services department, supporting Scania worldwide. You have the possibility to transform and accelerate a brand new HR set-up that are global, business oriented and relies on people analytics.  

In your role, you will:


• Be part of the Global HR Management Team and contribute with both direction and clarity in setting the next level of our people strategy that supports Scania´s purpose of becoming the leader in sustainable transport systems
• Be responsible for delivering excellent operational/transactional HR to managers and employees in Scania´s global organization
• Set up the new organizational structure (roles & responsibilities within the service organization, as well as the interactions between the different functions)
• Together with Global HR Management Team ensuring that policies and common global processes are defined, implemented and maintained to meet the demands of the business in a changing environment
• Together with HR colleagues drive and be an ambassador for the transformation journey to become an outstanding data driven HR organization with high performance and engaging culture
• Ensure high level and quality co-operation and co-determination with all relevant stakeholders, e.g. Union-, employee representatives and mangers
• Report directly to Executive Vice President HR

Your profile

We are looking for a true leader with a growth mindset in both developing your team as well as being open to change and improvements. You are a highly strategic, analytical and business driven person that uses data and analytics as the foundation for decision making. To be successful in this position you are a team player, a good communicator, have a strong ability to network and reach results through others.

You have an extensive knowledge of operational/transactional HR and experience of driving organizational change in a global and fast moving environment. Leading teams comes natural to you and you inspire people by your optimistic, passionate and engaging personality.
