Scanning Clerk

The Nordic/Baltic Area, Finance and Accounting department is looking for a scanning clerk for our entities in Sweden, Norway and Finland.The position is located at the Maersk Sweden office in Gothenburg. The Nordic Accounting department is fully functional and handles transactions for all business entities, e.g.agency, liner, logistics.Nordic has during 2006 implemented FACT (global finance/accounting system based on SAP) for Sweden and Denmark, and will beginning 2007 implement for the remaining of the Area (Norway, Finland and Baltics).The accounting organisation is split into general ledger, exception handling, business process, self service procurement/travel expense management.The scanning position will be with our exception handling team.General areas of responsibility: - Scan high volumes of invoices and travel expense management - Register invoices and travel reports in to SAP - Update sequential numbers on the paper invoices after scanning - Archive invoices and travel expense management reports - Sort and distribute incoming mail The Candidate The ideal candidate is thorough and structured.The person has a high attention to detail and value high quality results.Ability to read Finnish will be an advantage, but not a requirement.
