Customer interest and expectations of security are growing, especially with the introduction of 5G and CloudRAN technologies. The protection of information is important to Ericsson business and reputation. It is also crucial that the customer can trust our products and the technology behind them. To demonstrate our security capabilities, SCAS (SeCurity Assurance Specifications) certification of Ericsson’s network solutions is a chosen way to show that market security demands are reached.
We are now searching for a lab support engineer in the SCAS project to provide accurate environment for Vulnerability Analysis (VA) tests in different audits. This position is in Product Security sector in Business Networks (BNEW).
What you will do
Your main tasks will be:
Lab support in SCAS project: Configuration and Fixing of Transport Network, Radio Network and Tools (FsUE, Linux servers)
Maintain and prepare SCAS lab Environment in collaboration with Environment responsible(s)
Coordinate lab support for different security labs used by the VA teams
Maintain lab documentation and be SPOC to support organizations
Write tickets when issues found
Lead improvement work in your team
You will bring
To be successful in this role you must have:
Genuine curiosity about product testing end to end, product/application security and VA tools
At least 2-4 years' experience in lab support
Good understanding in telecom protocols (LTE, NR, CloudRAN), IP networking and Linux sysadmin knowledge is a plus
Fixing, problem solving, end-to-end thinking
Communication skills and present results in English, both verbally and in written
