Location: Älmhult, Sweden
IKEA Supply is part of IKEA Range & Supply and is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.
Supply Chain Development is going into the next phase of a great journey. By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development agenda into one organisation, embedding process and the development and management of digital solutions into the business, we create the best preconditions for meeting the future with the right competences and business capabilities. By this we will also create the preconditions to a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs. The SCD function includes five areas; Sourcing, Design & Planning, Execution, Intralogistics & Market logistics. Additionally SCD has three assignments to lead and keep together the overarching development in the field of Technology in Supply, Packaging & Identification for total IKEA and the Development Networks to lead collaborative innovation approach around Logistics and Fulfilment. Three support functions will be key to support the whole organisation: BN & Portfolio mgmt., Communication and People & Culture. Job Description
As a SCD Development Manager you will lead from an end-to-end on operational and tactical level by taking full responsibility for the tactical and operational development portfolio for processes and digital solutions delivering to the IKEA Supply objectives and defined business needs. You will be responsible for high and stable performance and continues improvements within your sub area in close cooperation with suppliers and stakeholders, including supporting implementation. You will set and deliver agreed business goals to secure a high performing organization. You are passionate about the digital transformation and see process- and solution development as a key to make life easier for the many people and make a clear footprint in line with the IKEA direction. This you will secure by leading your development area by high performing teams and leaders who inspires co-workers to reach their full potential. You are a member of SCD Design & Planning management and take an active role in contributing to the overall strategic agenda of SCD Design & Planning.
As a SCD Development mgr for Sales & Demand Planning you will, among other assignments:
• Develop, manage and run the process and related digital solutions by combining business knowledge with technology within Sales and Demand
• Secure compliance and alignment of process and solution development both within SCD area and with relevant stake holders
• Lead the build-up of an Agile Ways of Working capability in our development teams
• Lead the build-up of an Agile Ways of Working capability in our development teams
• Represent the Sales & Demand team in relevant governance forum and take an active role to influence and support the competence development agenda
• Lead the team by example, coaching and motivating the co-workers
The position is based in Älmhult, Sweden and will require travelling.
Qualifications
