The opportunity

As a Scheme Economics Manager, you will work closely with the Scheme Management, Product, and Pricing teams on scheme cost-related analytics projects, fee implementation, and cost-recovery activities while co-operating broadly with other departments across the organization, supporting the achievement of our goals and objectives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Driving revenue and protecting our profitability through driving and coordinating the acquiring processing schemes related to economics projects.
Data analysis related to billing of Scheme fees (Visa\MasterCard) and Interchange (card issuer fees), identifying drivers and ensuring cost recovery from our customers (billing\invoicing).
Scheme fee and interchange impact calculations on our merchant portfolio for repricing purposes when new fees are introduced, and communicating\ presenting these across the organization.
Ensuring\ coordinating system Scheme cost implementation across all our acquiring platforms together with relevant departments.
Collaborating broadly with different departments that include, among others, Product, Finance, Business Controlling, Acquiring Technology, Scheme Management, Pricing, Sales, and Payment Partnerships to work towards our goals.
You may also on occasion:
Support or provide analytical input for new
evised price models or product pricing setup.
Support sales managers in discussions with existing merchants regarding transaction\scheme cost drivers and fee updates.
Ensure accurate transaction cost components in pricing tools and other models.
Skills we can’t do without:
You have a bachelor's degree in economics, business management, data analysis, or other relevant fields.
You are experienced in the payment industry with previous knowledge of scheme fees, interchange, and\or acquiring pricing.
You have previous experience working with data analysis using Excel.
You have proven advanced Excel skills and feel comfortable with making PowerPoint presentations to communicate your findings.
You are fully proficient in the English language.
You have outstanding organizational and time management skills to plan your own work and sync\drive projects with others.
You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
You’re a self-starter with drive and a getting-things-done demeanor, and you can work optimally in a team as well as independently.
Skills we would like:
Experience with tools such as SQL, BI, VBA, Power Query.
You strive for ongoing professional development and learning.
