The mission school Mission One Eleven is a school that is a part of Mariannelunds folkhögskola but located on another site. It is part of an international network, and the Swedish school is in Mullhyttan on the countryside 40km outside of Örebro, Sweden. It is a full board school, where the student live and share lift together and get a training that is very team focused and training for spirit, soul and body is offered.
The Mission One Eleven course runs over one semester, and a mission's trip abroad is included in the course.
The course is conducted by Mariannelunds folkhögskola, whom is also the principal of Mission One Eleven Sweden. The course takes place in collaboration with the Svensk Pionjärmission.
Your tasks
This roll will work with administration, and practical work around the school making sure that schedules for lessons as well for cooking, cleaning and other things runs smoothly. You need to be prepared to take part in practical work also.
You will also work with booking tickets and applying for visa and other planning for the trips.
You will also take part and work with leading the missionstrip to a rural area with were low living conditions.
You will also partake in information and marketing both by social media and webpage but also by visiting different churches and conferences where you will be asked to speak and preach in some cases.
You need also to be ready to travel outside of Sweden and Europe to Asia, and Africa etc.
You need to be fluently in English since the school is all in English.
Who are you?
You are a flexible and positive person who likes to have a good order but still is caring and loving. You need to have coaching skills and be strong both with administrational skills and to help, support and encourage people.
You will also help and support the big volunteer team that works around the campus. You need to be able to work in a team but also work and solve problems by yourself when needed.
You need to have gone through the Mission One Eleven school or similar missions training school.
You must be fluently in English in writing and speaking.
