Vaktmästare/Caretaker.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Hässelby opened in 2011 and has around 576 students enrolled in grades 4 - 9, with around 60 members of staff. IES provides an international and stimulating environment, where commitment, professionalism and the English language are common denominators. We work in an environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.

IES Hässelby is looking for a 50% Caretaker to cover a parental leave.

The job will include, but not limited to:

- Managing the security for the site to keep students and staff safe, including clearing snow and ice from the school grounds, ensuring the school’s fire safety equipment is in working order and accessible and ensuring the school grounds are free from dangerous items.

- Managing the maintenance of the premises and ensuring the smooth operation of the school environment;  including maintenance tasks, installing and assembling new products.

- Managing contractors and services within the school as well as keeping management and your team leader up to date with work going on around the school. 

- Reporting issues to the landlords and following up where necessary.

- Managing your budget.
