Internationella Engelska Skolan is a leading independent school group ("friskola"), reaching academic results far above average. It was founded in 1993 by Ms. Barbara Bergström, a Science teacher, originally from the US. In 2009, she received the award "Entrepreneur of the Year in Sweden". Nearly 7,500 students are currently enrolled in our 17 schools around the country, mainly grades 4 - 9 or "grundskola". Applicants must have the correct education for this position. Being able to speak English is a clear advantage but most of your work will be in Swedish. Experience working in a school is an advantage but we are equally happy to receive applications from outside the school world. We have built a strong team of educators who work hard to provide our students with the best possible education and care. Being a positive and cooperative team player is a must. In addition to the normal school nurse duties and responsibilities, we look to recruit someone who believes in working proactively and on a whole-school level.
