Who are you?

To succeed in the Scientific Affairs Manager role at TePe and contribute to TePe's vision, you have a strong interest in preventive oral care and scientific development.

With your strategic mindset and attention to detail, you will develop and drive our scientific affairs strategy. Your leadership skills make it easy for you to lead the Global Clinical and Educational Team in our matrix organisation.

Your love for science, coupled with your strong networking skills and ability to operate well in an international environment, leads you to excel when representing TePe in different scientific forums and position us as a thought leader within oral health.

You can create easy-to-digest information for internal and external stakeholders through your ability to translate academic research into simplified language.

Moreover, you together with the International Clinical & Educational Team will be key in ensuring the organisation makes well-informed decisions throughout our product portfolio's life cycle and solution offerings.

The role:

This is a global role, that reports directly to our Marketing Director.

Areas of responsibility:

- Set, develop and drive the Scientific Affairs Strategy together with the International Clinical and Educational Team and other parts of the organisation

- Liaise relationships between the company and the scientific community, institutions, and organisations

- KOL engagement

- Support, guide and develop the scientific knowledge of our International Clinical and Educational Team

- Review and validate the scientific evidence of the current and new product portfolio

- Be a scientific consultant throughout the product life cycle of our product portfolio

- Follow scientific developments linked to our products and solutions

- Review and evaluate research proposals for Eklund Foundation

- Be part of the Commercial Team and the Marketing Management team to bring the scientific perspective into planning and decision-making in the organisation

- Give lectures on scientific topics to different audiences

Required qualifications:

- Bachelor of Dentistry (BDS)/Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)

- Specialist degree and/or PhD

- Experience within Scientific Affairs or similar strategic field

- Strong International networking skills

- Experience in clinical research

- Experience with lecturing

- Excellent communication skills in English

Additional qualifications we would like to see:

- Specialist degree in Periodontology is an advantage

- Experience of working in a commercial environment is an advantage
