CellaVision is now looking for a Scientific Affairs Research Assistant to our office in Lund!
For this position, you will be a part of our Scientific Affairs team. Scientific Affairs is a small, highly committed, and dynamic cross-disciplinary team, with the vision of introducing new dimensions and solutions into digital microscopy. As a part of this team, you need to prepare yourself for rapid changes, work with diverse tasks of all kinds (big and small), and to get a hint of the future of digital morphology.
As Scientific Affairs Research Assistant you will support our scientific and clinical experts with laboratory knowledge. You will interact with physicians and other healthcare professionals who utilize or are involved in research related to CellaVision’s products. You need to have a good understanding of modern analytical methods used in clinical practice in the field of hematology and adjacent areas. The position is organizationally placed in the Scientific Affairs function, a team of five. You will have approximately 10 international travel days per year.
Key tasks as Scientific Affairs Research Assistant
- Assist with investigations of new product ideas and product lines by managing evaluations.
- Perform practical laboratory work to assist with investigations and prototype development for new analyses.
- Manage, support, and present scientific research regarding CellaVision’s products and prototypes.
- Proactively monitor scientific and medical developments in the field of hematology and other areas.
- Support the Marketing, Development, and Product management organization in CellaVision during the development of new products.

Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or health-related degree M.Sc./ B.Sc. or similar.
- 1-2 years of experience within the field of hematology or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on laboratory work experience.
- Experience in method development including method validations.
- You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Meritorious
- Recent experience from work in a clinical laboratory is merit.
- Swedish written and verbal communication skills
