Scientific project manager
Swedish StromaBio AB is a young Swedish biopharma company developing ATMP based on mesenchymal stromal cells to treat life-threatening inflammatory conditions. We are now recruiting a project manager with a scientific background to support our product development. The position will also involve laboratory work and we seek a person with experience in cell culture, ideally human mesenchymal stromal cells and immune-based assays.
The role
As a project manager you are expected to support the ongoing projects in the company. In your role you will manage team members both within and outside the organization. Real-work experience from product development, quality/CMC and interactions with the regulatory authorities in Sweden and/or EU is meriting.
Main responsibilities
· Project management using Microsoft 365, including budget and time management within the organization and with external collaborators.
· Preclinical development and performing CMC-related experiments.
· Support the clinical operations team, including scientific/medical and CMC writing. This will require the ability to go through large amounts of scientific literature and take out key information.
Requirements:
· PhD in immunology, stem cell biology, or similar relevant topic. Hands-on experience in flow cytometry, methods in isolation and activation of immune cells is mandatory competences.
· >2 years work experience in relevant area after PhD defense, where a maximum of 5 years is within academia.
· Experience from working in biotech industry and pharmaceutical development, ideally ATMPs.
· Experienced in aseptic cell culture work and immune-based assays. Experience from working with MSCs is meriting.
· Experienced user of Microsoft365 and Teams.
· Experienced in working with ELN (or similar electronic lab book system) and with a clear understanding of the importance of proper documentation.
· Fluent in English both orally and in writing, Swedish is meriting.
To thrive in this role, you should be resourceful and demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills. Another key competence is communication skills, as you effectively need to be able to communicate with both internal and external partners at all levels. You also enjoy working in a small organization that requires an agile mindset as work tasks can change fast.

The position is a permanent employment from the office in Solna, Sweden. A fixed-term probationary period of 6 months may be employed. Personal suitability will be important.
