Enabling manufacturing productivity: we provide solutions for the entire bioprocess workflow (i.e. start-to-finish bioprocessing) helping our customers to develop and manufacture biopharmaceuticals more efficiently.
Providing high quality support and maintenance services.
In this role you will deliver excellent scientific support for our ÄKTA? and BIAcore? products to our key customers and drive an increase in customer satisfaction. Lab experience from either chromatography or SPR is desired. The role will support the achievement of the regional and local annual sales and profit plans by the provision of advice, guidance and scientific support on all aspects of the Company?s products to both customers and colleagues. This is a European role with preferred location: Denmark (Copenhagen), Sweden(Uppsala), United Kingdom (Amersham).
In this role you will;
Respond to application related local and regional customer inquiries and feedback through the appropriate questioning techniques to identify the nature of the request/complaint.
Advise the appropriate sales staff of the content of application related customer inquiries and feedback, and their outcome.
Meet with agreed service levels, time scales and standard operating procedures.
On request - deliver up-to-date application training on company products and their related scientific background, for sales staff, other company departments, and/or customers.
Seek opportunities to convert application related inquiries into new or developed sales possibilities (e.g. lead generation, up-and cross-selling and initiating quotations).
Support local sales promotion activities, e.g. customer demonstrations and seminars (lectures)
Support local sales with technical review of tenders and technical follow-up for QAA?s if required.
Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and competence on specialist subjects, products and their applications.
Maintain an up-to-date basic knowledge of all company products, services and their associated support literature.
Establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with customers and sales staff.

Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Life Sciences degree, preferrably Phd or equivalent experience.
Prior scientific and laboratory experience with solid demonstrable expertise in chromatography, columns, media.
Excellent communication and team-work skills.
Fluent in at least one Nordic/Dutch language and English, additional European language is beneficial.
Proficiency in PC computer skills and in Microsoft Office Suite products.
EU work permit.
