We are currently looking for a Scientist to the section for Analytical Technologies within the R&D Resins & Ligand Design department at Cytiva in Uppsala, Sweden. The mission of the Analytical Technology section is to support different departments within the company with expertise and technologies regarding analysis of resins, intermediates and other substances related to the production of the chromatographic process from start to finish. We are also working close to the quality control and production units, to support them with problem solving as well as method developments
What you’ll do
Be part of the project team for new products and updates of the present products and perform analysis using analytical methods for particle characterisation
Develop and optimize new analytical methods within the scope for the projects
Perform assignment analyses from the production and quality control departments
Take part in validations



Who you are
PhD or MSc with experience within Physical/Analytical Chemistry with focus on particle characterization, material characterization, microscopy, electron microscopy, particle size distribution, image analysis.
Knowledge and experience in the other areas within physical chemistry such as chromatography, spectroscopy, titrations, etc.
Quality oriented with an analytical attitude
Statistical knowledge
Validation experience
Swedish and /or English as a working language
Excellent computer skills and ability to work in both general and internal systems
A flexible, accurate and structured way of working
