Job description
We are looking for a Scientist to join the team. You will be involved in research projects employing cutting edge cell, molecular biology and biochemistry technologies, and state of the art equipment. The Scientist role at Anocca is suited to motivated scientists with a keen interest in biotechnology and scientific method. Development opportunities are many.
We imagine that you already have extensive experience in relevant biochemical/biophysical techniques and hold a doctorate in this field. Your ability to analyse and summarise data is excellent. Additional skills in cell and molecular biology are desirable.
You must have excellent English communication skills, knowledge of relevant research techniques, and have the ability to analyse and summarise data. You must be capable of working as part of a team but should also demonstrate initiative to drive projects forward.
What we are looking for:
· PhD in relevant natural or medical science
· Significant and relevant laboratory experience in peptide biochemistry
· Experience of automated synthesis, protein biochemistry and/or mass spectrometry.
· Fluent written and spoken English
It would be nice if you have one or more of these:
· Experience of working in the general field of immunology
· Experience from ISO validated, GCP or GMP working environments
