SCIENTIST TO STARTUP COMPANY IN STOCKHOLM

Do you have experience of molecular biology methods and work with DNA, oligonucleotides and DNA related enzymes? We are now looking for applicants with good scientific knowledge and excellent laboratory skills to our customer, a startup company in Stockholm. The position is a consultant assignment with the duration of 6-12 months and based in Stockholm. The assignment is planned to start shortly. About the position
You will be a part of our customers R&D team that consist of ~10 people. You will contribute to generate proof of concept and work in a multidisciplinary team to develop a world class product. Your focus will be hands on laboratory work supporting different projects. You will also interpret data from experiments and plan new experiments and hypotheses.

Your profile
To fit the role, you have a MSc and preferably also a PhD (or comparable experience) in molecular biology, biotechnology, molecular medicine or other relevant scientific discipline.
You have at least 5 years hands on experience of standard laboratory molecular biology methods like qPCR, PCR, and molecular biology assays. You have a good understanding of how DNA hybridization and DNA related enzymology works and experience of independently planning and setting up experiments. Industrial experience is a merit. Fluent written and spoken English is a requirement.
