Scientist within Microbiology, ABIGO Medical AB
Are you challenged by finding effective solutions and want to be involved in improving people's health and well-being?
We are now looking for a new colleague to join our Research & Development team and to contribute to our medical device segment related to advanced wound management (AWM) products. As a Scientist, you will work with primarily microbiological analyses, method development and research to support the AWM business. You will work in close cooperation with colleagues within R&D, cross-functionally throughout the company, as well as with external contacts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, implement, and report tests verifying product performance.
• Develop and maintain key methods within microbiology in wound care.
• Prepare publications and oral presentations.
• Lead and/or participate in research projects.
• Maintain laboratory facilities, e. g. by having instrument responsibility.
• Create, review and maintain product related technical documentation.
• Plan and execute biocompatibility evaluations according to applicable standards and regulatory requirements in defined markets.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• PhD, licentiate, or MSc in microbiology/molecular biology.
• Preferably 1-2 years’ industrial experience within cell or microbiology, preferably from the food- or health care sector.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships cross-functionally and cross-culturally, both internally and with ABIGO's partners.
