We are looking for two Scientists or Senior Research Engineers to work with our experts in the application team focusing at developing processes for purification of monoclonal antibodies at Uppsala R&D. Improve and also implement new analysis protocols for complex protein purification experiments both in respect to product specific impurities but also to process impurities
Design, perform, analyse, document and present the analytical experiments and also take part in the design of the chromatography purification experiments of monoclonal antibodies and derivatives thereof
Provide scientific and technical expertise within the areas of protein purification and solve technical problems
Act as activity leader and field expert reviewer
Act as a mentor/local expert and support peers within the areas of protein purification and protein stability
Present scientific and technical results internally and externally, oral and written communication in Swedish and English
Who you are
Experienced in protein chemistry and protein analysis
Have a solid experience from common techniques like chromatography, electrophoresis and ELISA and are able to independently develop new analytical methods
Knowledgeable in the area of developing purification protocols preferably using DoE tools
PhD in biology, medicine, engineering or related Life Science field and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience from industrial development/ R&D within medicine, biotechnology or bioprocess
We are looking for someone with the drive and capability to initiate, plan, perform, analyze, document and present results to drive our projects forward
In order to succeed in this position, you need to be result-oriented, flexible and creative with a strong collaborative attitude, focusing on the customer needs.
