We are looking for a Scientist or Senior Research Engineer to work with our experts in the application team focusing at developing processes for purification of monoclonal antibodies at Uppsala R&D. Do you have experience from large scale chromatography? Then we would love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Contribute to the development of new purification products intended to be used at large scale in the BioPharma Industry.
Provide scientific and technical expertise within the areas of protein purification and solve technical problems
Act as activity leader and field expert reviewer
Be an active project member and in the lab, perform experiments at all scales, mostly lab-scale. Our goal is high yield and high purity of our target molecules, monoclonal antibodies and derivatives thereof. You will design, perform, analyse, document and present the experiments performed at project meetings.
Act as a mentor/local expert and support peers within the areas of protein purification and protein stability
Present scientific and technical results internally and externally, oral and written communication in English
Who you are
Experienced in the field of chromatography techniques for purification of bio-molecules, preferably from working in an industrial environment.
Knowledgeable in the area of developing purification protocols preferably using DoE tools or Mechanistic modeling
Experienced in protein chemistry and preferably also protein analysis
PhD in biology, medicine, engineering or related Life Science field and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience from industrial development/ R&D within medicine, biotechnology or bioprocess
We are looking for someone with the drive and capability to initiate, plan, perform, analyze, document and present results to drive our projects forward
In order to succeed in this position, you need to be result-oriented, flexible and creative with a strong collaborative attitude, focusing on the customer needs.
