SCM Coordinator (Located in Finland) to Samsung

We are looking for a Supply Chain Management Coordinator to join Samsung's office in Finland! This is a consultancy opportunity, a 2 year contract starting ASAP with possible extension.

Job Description: As a Supply Chain Management Coordinator you will be in charge of product supply from Samsung factories into the Finnish market. You will work with demand forecasting, purchasing and coordination of various issues and information between local area, Korean headquarters and factories in order to give the best support to local sales team with maximized operational efficiency. You will be working at the Finnish office in Espoo. Other accountabilities include: 

Input and update forecasts for smart phones, tablets, wearables and accessories


Monitoring customer stock situation for optimal sell in/sell out 


Work in close co-operation with local sales team 


Be aware of new model introduction schedule and customer model selection


Follow up the product lifecycle process in co-operation with product manager


Have responsibility for purchasing from our factories (right quantity, right time, and right price) 


Weekly contacting to our Nordic and Korean Headquarters and monitoring production/shipments for optimal supply per customer


Work with reports to Nordic and Korean Headquarters (e.g. weekly sales discrepancy, demand updated status, coordination of daily operational issues)


Analyzing forecast accuracy per customer to support optimal product flow


Suitable Background: At least 1-2 years of working experience within SCM, Logistics, Purchase or equivalent


Educational background in Business, Logistics, SCM or equivalent  


Your Profile:    To fit in this role it is important that you are structured and analytical with the ability to communicate and make presentations. You should also be able to take own initiatives and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Other than this we also see that you are/have: 

Strong Excel skills 


Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written 


Knowledge of Finnish/Korean is an advantage


Knowledge of different SCM systems and interfaces is an advantage
