We are now looking for a SCM Process Development Manager, focusing on end-to-end planning and inventory management. This is a maternity leave substitute position.
Structured processes are a key element of Stora Enso’s transformation strategy. S&OP process area works with divisions and functions to build and implement end-to-end processes. Work is organized through group-wide structure of executive level Process Sponsor, Process Owner and Supply chain development teams and networks, who drive the development and implementation in their respective business areas.
The location for this position: Helsinki or Stockholm.
Tasks
Main purposes of the job:
· Substitute position during maternity leave June 2020 – April 2021
· Building the methodology for high quality inventory management, including developing the needed practices and tools for analyzing performance and recognizing improvement priorities.
· Mathematical modeling of optimized inventory level, considering service levels, lead times and variation
· Further developing inventory management practices and scaling them across the value chain (E2E)
· Follow-up implementation of improvement actions and realization of benefits
· Ensure competence build up and sharing best practices
· Updating inventory management operating models and respective documentation.
Main responsibilities and key tasks:
· Hands-on management of agreed group-wide S&OP and other relevant supply chain management (SCM) processes and development initiatives in cooperation with relevant partners
· Engage people to develop practices and implementing into their operational roles
· Identify inventory optimization technology needs and recommendations for future
· Support the implementation and development of Stora Enso’s group-wide end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
· Ensure the efficient and effective end-to-end processes across businesses and relevant group functions, e.g. finance, forest, wood supply and logistics
· Project management to ensure progress and deliver concrete results in the respective development areas
· Coordination with IT regarding common IT platform needs
· Maintain up-to-date documentation of agreed processes.
Requirements
We are looking for these qualities when selecting for this position:
· Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
· Experience in inventory management, building the process, analysis and methods including mathematical modeling and optimization
· Solid understanding and working experience in end-to-end supply chain processes
· Strong project management skills
· Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented approach towards challenges
· Structured and systematic approach
· Excellent communication skills in English. Swedish or Finnish is an advantage.
