ValueOne is looking for a SCM Specialist for a consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Ludvika. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.

The role
As SCM Specialist you are responsible for purchasing equipment according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. You will be ensuring that purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures, as well as designing and implementing plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. Remote work is possible to some extent.
Main tasks:
Identify and qualify new suppliers in colalboration with supplier quality and engineering specialists.
Monitor the performance of suppliers.
Support other departments by providing relevant information of the market.
Supports regional and global sourcing initiatives as required.
Align supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, durability, and price.
Experience and competencies
To be successful in this role you need to have at least one year’s experience in sourcing. It’s meritorious if you have experience in working in SAP or LN and if you are confident user in storing data. You have good communication and negotiation skills. As a person you are a reliable team player with an independent and result oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills. You are precise and proactive. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is necessary.
