Scouting Project Manager

At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 35,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.

We are looking for a Scouting Project Manager to work in the Music department. This is a fixed term position of one year based at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.

In this role you will support the team with scouting related projects and activities such as: improving scouting efficiency, create new scouting partnerships and opportunities as well as improve our processes and tooling.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Scout for, and sign talent that match our targets to meet the needs of the storytellers and DSP:s and that will take the Epidemic Sound catalog to an even higher level

- Manage projects and activities that serve to develop our scouting. The employee should be able to efficiently plan, coordinate and execute the projects from start to finish.

- Have accountability for the ongoing projects and the related targets/OKR:s.

- Independently manage and/or represent Music Intake in cross functional projects with the purpose to support the department’s scouting targets, and the company’s overall mission and targets.

- Build and manage relationships with key partners in the industry to create new scouting opportunities.

- Develop our work with digital A&R tooling.

- Carry out tasks as the department/company requests.



We believe you are/have:

- Experience within the music industry or similar creative industry

- A wide industry network and is good at building relationships

- 3+ years experience in project management

- Fluent in English, verbal and written

- Great passion and love for music!
