Sandvik Mining and Construction, Rock Processing in Svedala, Sweden is looking for Screening Specialist (Siktningsspecialist) Description Sandvik in Svedala is part of Sandvik Mining and Construction.We are one of the leading manufacturers of capital equipment in the mining and construction business.Our Sandvik product range includes crushers, screens, feeders, mobile crushers and screening stations.Our department Quarry and Civil Engineering Expertise (QCEE) now looks to expand with someone responsible for process and performance in screens and screening.The department consists of eight people working with sales support, process support and process development over the whole crushing process - from hard rock to customer product.Your area of responsibility will be supporting our sales organization with expertise regarding screens and developing our screening processes toward a higher level of techno-economical optimization. Key performance areas You will develop intimate knowledge of the screening process and you will become our expert in areas like capacity, efficient screening and choice of screens.You will work actively to build a base of knowledge to reach the goals set for this position.You will spend a considerable amount of time testing our crushers and screening stations around the world.Furthermore, you will lead our screening tests at our modernized test facility close to Svedala.All results and samples from these tests are compiled in a program which helps our project leaders pick the optimal screen for each job.You will also support our sales organization through your field experience, which means a large amount of traveling in the job. Your profile To be successful in this position we think the right candidate: - has an MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.- has a minimum of two years experience working with screening and screens.- is fluent in English, both written and verbal.Further languages are a plus.To qualify for the position it is advantageous to have: - experience of the mining and/or construction business.- good knowledge of crushing and the different types of equipment in crushing stations.- previous international experience.
