Arbetsbeskrivning
We at NIRA believe in making the roads safer by developing sophisticated software solutions for passenger cars. Our solutions are used in everything from controlling vehicle dynamics locally in the car to creating real-time road condition maps for autonomous vehicles travelling in challenging weather and road conditions.
As a Scrum Master you will be a part of the engineering team developing NIRA’s road friction estimator Tire Grip Indictor (TGI) and you will collaborate closely with your development colleagues, the team’s product owner and a wide range of external stakeholders and automotive industry customers.
Your team
You will work within a Scrum team where you, in close cooperation with your team members, work on multiple products delivering new features in an agile manner. Beside the Scrum Master, the team consists of 4-8 Development Engineers and one Product Owner. You will report to the Development Lead role for TGI.
This is what you will do
• Plan and facilitate the planning: daily Scrum, demo and retrospective meetings for the team
• Guide your team in Scrum practices
• Be accountable for improving the team velocity and the continuous improvement of the team
• Assist the Product Owner to refine a ready backlog together with the team
• Address and remove impediments and obstacles for the team; report impediments and obstacles that cannot be solved on the team level to the Scrum of Scrums
As you get comfortable within your role and the organization, different opportunities exists for you to grow and develop yourself, e.g. take on the role as Product Owner.
What we hope you'll bring to the team
You enjoy working in a fast-paced growing market at the forefront of technology. Structure is your mantra and you work according to a clear process, but you also have the ability to question and challenge the way of working. You understand the value of building relationships, successful collaboration and keeping the entire team engaged and on the same page.
Other required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or solid work experience.
• Experience from working in an agile organization with scrum methodology.
• Solid programming skills in relevant languages.
• Fluency in English, and basic Swedish knowledge.
