What’s in it for you?
You will join, lead and coach two of our agile teams within the DevOps Enablement Cluster (DE) at Volvo Cars. At DE we are offering a variety of solutions supporting the software development process and DevOps ways of working including CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and GitHub. Our focus is to deliver a first-class developer experience.
You will also take an active part in the agile transformation of the product by coaching the team to improve agile abilities and by utilizing agile methods and SAFE framework principles to create business value continuously. And of course, have lots of fun while doing it. The majority of the teams are located in Gothenburg.
What you’ll do
• Delivery execution within the DevOps Enablement product teams, while coaching the teams and people in all aspects of agile ways of working and mindset.
• Managing and optimizing the flow of value through the product.
• Establishing and improving planning and delivery iterations.
• Understand and coordinate cross-team dependencies and foster program collaboration.
• You will also be enabling clarity in prioritization and ensuring transparency of team progress, releases, and achievements across the organization as well as facilitating measurement of results. Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
Collaborate with the other 5 scrum masters of the other teams in the product to jointly support the agile journey of the product. Help to manage and reduce risks and dependencies as well as removing, escalating, and tracking impediments. You will be working with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders.
Who you are:
We are looking for a person with a servant leadership approach and we believe you have the ability to create an environment that fosters high-performing teams. You have certification and 5+ years experience as Scrum Master, preferably from several organizations and global teams, experience from infrastructure management and/or development and leadership experiences (e.g. Scrum Master, Line manager, Project Manager). Furthermore, you have experience in Azure DevOps or equivalent system, experience from working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), coaching and facilitation, Scrum, DevOps familiarity and experience in Lean-Agile methods, and previous experience in working with software development projects
