Northab is looking for Scrum Master for one of our customers based in Stockholm
A Scrum Master’s daily activities are to facilitate all team meetings, including daily scrum, iteration planning, iteration review and retrospective. You will coach the team in the Scrum framework, making sure that the team understands and lives by its values and practices.
You will also make sure that the Product Owner and the Development team collaborate to deliver the maximum value, while mediating the general conflict of goals between the Development Team (high technical quality and stabilization) and the Product Owner (new functionality).
In the role of a Scrum Master you will also:
- Be an ambassador for the agile way-of-working at PostNord
- Facilitates coordination not only with other teams in the ART, but also with the System Team, Architecture, and Shared Services.
- Act as a change agent and use the learning points of the Scrum Team to push for changes in the organization.
- Focus on ever-improving team dynamics and performance.
- Coach the team members to become more T-shaped by developing new skills.
- Improve team performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
- Assist the team to focus on daily and Iteration Goals in the context of current Program Increment (PI) Objectives.
- Support the Product Owner in creating a prioritized product backlog, by finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
Requirements:
Certificates requirements:
- PSM I or higher, CSM or higher is mandatory
- SAFe SM or similar certifications is nice to have but not a requirement
Other qualifications/requirements:
- Participates actively in creating a good work culture, where we together find the best solutions. This means that you can work both independently and together with others.
- Proven ability to independently capture & share information through formal written documentation in English. Fluent in verbal and written communication is a must requirement for this role.
- Scandinavian language skills (Se, Dk, No) is considered a merit for this role.
- Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
- Experience from large organisation with outsourced IT and in this context have worked with distributed application maintenance and development
- Leadership qualities, with:
- Proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders and organizational interfaces.
- Integrity and objective with strong personal skills in building working relationships in multi-cultural environment
- Be comfortable with asking the hard questions and not to be afraid to voice your opinion.
