Scrum Master

We are looking for an awesome and tech-savvy Scrum Master for one of our teams that develops mobile and desktop web sportsbook applications together with teams across Europe. Are you the one we are looking for?

About the position

In this role you will be a key person to keep our agile deliveries flowing at a predictable and steady pace. You are a team enabler making sure everyone has what they need to deliver. You are a servant leader that is taking care of the team in terms of support, removing impediments and creating clarity. You communicate internally and externally with stakeholders, customers and other teams to create the best possible end-to-end deliveries.

As we are operating in a technically complex eco-system, we expect that you can navigate in technical discussions, understand issues and can ask the right questions. You advocate continuous improvement and a holistic mindset. You understand situational leadership; sometimes you take a step back to let the team take charge – sometimes you step in and give direction and guidance.

You understand both the team’s needs and at the same time business criticality and can operate with a certain level of flexibility and pragmatic approach. You make sure that collaboration with external parties such as depending teams, Product, UX, QA and Program Management runs smoothly. You promote team self-organization and ownership for its deliveries. You challenge the team to continuously improve and measure and evaluate performance to ensure high productivity.

The ideal candidate is a structured “people person” with technical know-how, a coaching mindset and a drive to enable and challenge the team to excel, grow and continuously improve! You continuously develop your leadership skills and drive your own personal growth in cooperation with your manager, and you have interest and ability to learn new technologies and curiosity to gain new skills.

To take on this role you probably have Scrum Master, SAFe or other Agile certification and a few years’ experience as Scrum Master or Agile Technical Project Manager in a large, scaled and/or distributed organization. You probably have a higher technical education or working experience associated with building software (not necessarily as a developer). You are fluent in English, in speech and writing.
