Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania's “driving the shift” strategy. At Connected Systems, we develop and operate Scanias IoT solutions. It spans from in-vehicle, via Telecom to the Scania back-end platform.
Connectivity in general is all about Data. Data in large volumes in a flexible and usable way is a key success factor for organisations that want to survive the digital shift. Scania today has over 600.000 (and counting) vehicles and other products connected online. We are looking for a new team member to help us drive the development of new connectivity solutions. What do we offer?
We offer you the possibility to be a part of a great team responsible for Scania’s Parameter Setting Capabilities. The team provides services that ensure that the ECUs in Scania’s Trucks, Buses and Industrial & Marine Engines work at an optimum.
The development team is also part of a bigger Value Creation Team (VCT), Diagnostics and Software Update, that support Scanias Production Units, Service Market and R&D with tools and services for diagnostics and software update. Since our VCT have many stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to learn and make connections with many different parts of Scania
Our VCT’s way of working is inspired by SAFe and we have two week sprints and ten week Program Increments

Who you are
To succeed in this role, you have experience or a passion in leading and coaching developing teams and working with agile methodologies. You are interested in working with a mix of team leading and hands-on SW development. You take joy in seeing the team succeed and have an interest in group dynamics.
It is meritorious if you have some years of experience in developing micro services in deployed in a cloud architecture (AWS) and .NET & C#. Experience in frontend development is also a plus. You are curious and enjoy having variation in your work. You can work with fuzzy assignments that require networking and an exploratory approach. Fluency in English both written and oral is required, Swedish language is a plus.
It is meritorious if you have a university degree or equalent, or if you have the knowledge from other sources.
