What we offer
You will become a member of an agile development team with great team spirit, the OverTheAir (OTA) team. The team is responsible for designing and verifying the generic OTA Software Download (SWDL) technologies within Volvo Cars. In this position you will build and maintain a wide personal network with designers within many different system areas of the vehicle, as well as backend systems and customer service departments. As a part of our team, you get access to long term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field, where you have a strong direct influence on customer satisfaction. The OTA team is part of the agile release train Common Base Technology (CBT), which forms part of the fundament for all electronic control units in the entire electrical system. In our daily work, we are working according to the SAFe framework with 12 weeks program increment.

What you’ll do
We are looking for you who are a true servant leader with an agile mindset as well as test architect competence.

As a scrum master, you will manage and optimize the flow of value through product development. This includes establishing and improving planning and delivery iterations, understand and coordinate cross-team dependencies, and foster collaboration. You will also help to manage and reduce risks and dependencies as well as removing, escalating, and tracking impediments. You will coach the team to embrace, adopt and apply agile principles and practices. Facilitate the team’s progress toward team goals by focusing on improving performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow and velocity as well as staying focused on the team’s iteration goals. Facilitate team meetings like the daily stand-up, iteration planning, demo and retrospective. Support the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog with respect to priorities and scope. Communicate with management and stakeholders, collaborate with other Scrum Masters to learn and improve own profession. Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART ceremonies like PI Planning, System Demos and the Inspect and Adapt

As Test Architect you will define a common test vision and roadmap for the OTA E2E technology. You will drive these architectural aspects in fora and meetings. You paint a compelling picture of the roadmap and framework that motivate others to action. You follow these in the organization to adopt and bring in new innovations and make sure they create business value. 

You and your skills
You are a self-driven and proactive team player with high ambitions. You are curious, always eager to learn, and have an innovative mindset. You care about people and you like to take responsibility for getting things done in a structured way. You have extensive experience in test architecture and systemization within SW development.  As a leader, we believe you have the ability to create an environment that fosters high-performing teams. You are used to working will multiple stakeholders and have the capability to facilitate workshops and perform activity & story mapping exercises. You embrace agile and a continuous improvement mindset. You probably have a M.Sc. degree or comparable experience and have experience from SAFe and Scrum. Excellent communication skills in English both in speech and writing is needed as well as you are currently located in Sweden.
