The Connected Experience organization within R&D includes Connectivity and Car Cloud Platform, Infotainment Platform, Applications and Data & Diagnostics. Our Agile Release Train (ART) Car Cloud Platform mission within the Department Connectivity and Car Cloud Platform is to enable cloud services globally to contribute to the overall connected experience. We build, provide, and operate a highly secure run-time ecosystem for functions and applications serving our connected cars, and their users. We aim to optimize functional and organic growth by using standard cloud technologies with high level of synergies and re-use. With our car cloud solution, we provide cloud infrastructure, platform core & services to support software development lifecycle (DevOps) by providing tools for fast feedback & built-in quality.
What you will do
We are now looking for a Scrum Master for our monitoring system team. You will be working with a group of skilled engineers, who are currently engaged in product development within the Connected Car Platform. This system team is organized with other teams in an Agile Release Train (ART) and aim to continuously deliver value.
You will have the opportunity to help Volvo Cars on the Agile journey, work with an experienced Release Train Engineer and participate in the Scrum Master Community of Practice to share best practices and evolve ideas.
You will work closely with the Team Manager and Product Owner to drive the removal of impediments and build up empowered high performing teams.
You will also support with facilitating real-time data transparency e.g., visualization of KPIs, Quality metrics, Test coverage etc. together with Team Manager and Release Train Engineer.
You and your background
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who have previously coached software engineering or system teams to be well functioning and high performing.
You are a servant leader and coach the team using agile team practices with focus on flow and take lead in the continuous improvement work.
You would bring experience in supporting and coaching teams, cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design and hands-on software development.
You would carry a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
If you have solid experience on SAFe framework as as well as working in Jira and/or have been Jira administrator, it will be highly beneficial in this role.
